Chisago County is planning a road construction project on Chisago County State Aid Highway 30 from

State Highway 61 (Viking Blvd in Wyoming) to CSAH 19 (Stacy Trail in Stacy). We will be
resurfacing the highway in concrete and overlaying the shoulders in bituminous pavement.
Improvements in Stacy are to include intersection improvements and reconstruction to accommodate the
updated lane configuration, ADA & sidewalk improvements and some storm sewer and signage

Improvements in Wyoming include a sidewalk connecting the intersection at TH 61(Viking Blvd) north
to the library, updating & improving drainage in the corridor, upgrading section to an urban design with
concrete curb & gutter and ADA improvements.

This project is being proposed to start in early May. PCI Roads Inc. of St. Michael, MN, was awarded
the contract. Mat Campbell will be the Engineering Technician from the County in charge of field
operations. We are anticipating a two month construction period. Concrete paving work will be done
throughout the project area. Our intent is to minimize traffic disruption. Traffic control will include One-
Way traffic, Flagging, Temporary Lane Adjustments, etc to help facilitate movement through the
construction project area.

During the entire time that this project, no parking will be allowed on this section of road. If vehicles
are left in the construction area unattended and we are unable to locate the owner of the vehicle, the
vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation
during construction.

All other Construction updates will be available on our website: under Road
